First Look at AW Fashion
Everyone’s favourite fashion season is almost upon us. Especially after the five heatwaves we had this summer (but really, it feels like the heatwave just never ended). As the September weather creeps in and the seasons begin to change, so does our wardrobe. It is officially layering season, and brown is definitely the colour we’ve seen the most across our retailers this season.
Autumn/Winter fashion is all about finding the perfect balance between comfort and style. Think relaxed silhouettes, statement outerwear, timeless knitwear and those all-important accessories that instantly elevate an outfit. Our retailers are definitely delivering with all their new Autumn/Winter ranges this season.
For women’s fashion, AW26 is all about easy layering, relaxed silhouettes and rich autumnal tones. Brown is having a serious moment, from warm chocolate shades to softer putty and cherrywood tones, making it the perfect season for adding a little more colour to your wardrobe without straying too far from those classic neutrals.
Hollister has the most gorgeous faux leather bomber jacket, which would be the statement piece of any outfit. Whether you’re layering it over a basic tee and leggings for an everyday look or dressing it up for a night out, it’s one of those pieces that can do it all.
And let’s not forget the black knitted poncho, which is bringing everyone straight back to their childhood. I guess ponchos are definitely back in fashion this season!
You also can’t have an AW season without a pair of UGGs, and this season there are plenty of styles to choose from. Perfect for those crisp autumn days when comfort is just as important as looking good.
For the guys, AW26 is bringing a mix of classic staples and relaxed, modern fits. Think oversized jumpers, polo shirts, suede shirts and plenty of relaxed denim – basically, everything you need for that effortlessly cool autumn wardrobe.
Suede is one of the standout textures this season, with earthy shades such as putty making an appearance across shirts and outerwear. Meanwhile, bomber jackets continue to be a go-to, with workwear-inspired styles adding a more casual edge.
Denim is also getting a relaxed update, with baggy and wide-leg fits replacing some of the slimmer silhouettes we’ve seen in previous seasons. Pair them with a simple knit, polo or suede shirt and you’ve got an easy everyday look that works from coffee runs to dinner plans.
And, of course, you can’t forget the accessories. From a classic New York Yankees cap to timeless Chelsea boots, the right finishing touches can completely change an outfit.
