Midsummer Place is once again set to host an exciting showcase of young talent as students from Young Enterprise’s flagship Company Programme present and sell their innovative products at the much-anticipated Trade Fair on Saturday 14 March.
As part of Young Enterprise, the UK’s largest national education charity, students gain real-world business experience by launching and running their own companies for a year. Supported by local business volunteers, they develop valuable entrepreneurial skills, financial confidence and an enterprising mindset.
The Trade Fair offers a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with customers, sharpen their sales skills and bring their business ideas to life in a busy retail environment. Visitors to Midsummer Place can support these young entrepreneurs by browsing and purchasing their unique products while seeing the creativity and ambition of the next generation first-hand.

Kents Hill Park School - Milton Keynes
Just Krafti creates handmade seasonal crafts that change throughout the year. This season, we are offering crochet hearts and wreath keyrings in a variety of colours, along with handmade pipe cleaner flowers to celebrate events like mother's day and the arrival of spring. Each item is handmade, so every piece is unique and may vary slightly.
Seasense - St Albans Girls School
We are SeaSense from St Albans Girls School, our names are Martha, Imogen, Ela, Darcey, Zoe, Aurelia and Charlotte. Our group stands for the sustainability of marine life and aims to educate young people on the problems facing our seas. To do this we sell craft kits of sea creatures with an educational story, adoption certificate and easy to follow instructions aimed at children. Come and visit us we’d love to see you!
Giftables - Royal Latin School
Our company Giftables creates beautifully curated seasonal gift bags, perfect for celebrating special moments throughout the year. Each bag is thoughtfully designed with high-quality items that capture the spirit of the season, making gifting easy, meaningful, and memorable. We have successfully sold a wide range of Christmas and Valentine’s Day gifts, receiving positive feedback from customers. On the day, we will be selling our Easter product range, available in sizes from small to large, featuring toys, chocolates, and more!
Colour & Cocoa - The Chiltern School, Dunstable
Colour & Cocoa has been created by Students at The Chiltern School, Dunstable. The team has produced colourful tie-dye products and unique chocolate bouquets, all made with creativity and teamwork. This project has supported the students to build confidence, independence, and real-world business skills. They’re excited to showcase and sell their products at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair in Milton Keynes. Come along and support our young entrepreneurs as they share their hard work and creativity with the community.
Young Enterprise is part of Junior Achievement, a global network operating in 120 countries and reaching over 15 million young people each year. Through programmes like this, students gain hands-on experience to help shape their future careers.
