The Shelter MK is a local charity in Milton Keynes dedicated to supporting people who are homeless or facing homelessness. Founded on compassion and community, the charity provides more than just a roof over someone’s head, it offers safety, dignity, and a pathway to a more secure future.

Based at George House in Stantonbury, The Shelter MK provides accommodation for up to 21 people at any one time. Guests are welcomed into a caring, supportive environment where they can rest, recover, and begin to rebuild their lives. Alongside safe housing, the team offers tailored guidance to help individuals access healthcare, employment opportunities, and permanent accommodation.

At its heart, The Shelter MK believes everyone deserves the chance to belong, to feel safe, and to be treated with respect. By working closely with local partners and the wider community, the charity continues to create lasting change helping people move from crisis to independence, and from homelessness to hope.
