At WD-40 Company, we believe in doing the right thing, and making things better than they are today. Supporting Men in Sheds MK reflects our passion for creating positive lasting memories and helping people succeed, together and as individuals. We are proud to sponsor Men in Sheds MK and support them in combatting isolation and building stronger communities.

Men in Sheds MK promotes wellbeing through hobbies, skills and community projects, offered in a safe and welcoming environment. Members are over 18 years old.
The Shed encourages social interaction for people from all walks of life. Our primary interest is to foster health and general wellbeing; members share skills and knowledge, support each other and create community projects.

Men in Sheds MK relies on individual donations from its members and local companies to support its operations. Members take on community projects in return for funding. Most of our members are retired but wish to stay active and put their time and effort into supporting the local community.

The charity works in an informal way without any paid employees and is open up to four days a week.

Activities at the Shed are very diverse. Community projects have in the past included: the refurbishment of garden benches; construction of wheeled boxes for the MK Food Bank; outdoor community libraries; the creation of theatrical props and scenery for a fete.

The Shed provides facilities for woodworking, metalworking, model making, stained glass, railways and painting and drawing. Some Shed members come to share specific skills, others to learn or simply socialize over a mug of tea and a chat.
