Midsummer Place is getting a 'glow up'
Exciting changes are coming in early 2023!
As we come to the end of 2022 and look at the new and exciting opportunities that 2023 has to offer, Midsummer Place is preparing for the completion of the first phase of its exciting development.
With a softer, more natural feel to the facias of LEON and the two adjacent retailers, the panel cladding creates a warmer environment to ‘The Boulevard’, a wonderful newly refurbished area for eating, relaxing and entertainment.
The plans with see The Boulevard become home to four purpose-built double cabins that will house eight unique street-food-style businesses to the area. These will be occupied by several of Midsummer Place’s existing food operators, plus a number of new businesses joining the centre, and collectively, will offer wide variety and vibrancy of cuisine for visitors.
Seating and tables in the central area of The Boulevard will give customers an opportunity to put their shopping bags down, take a breath and enjoy a refreshment. Lined with festoon lighting and floral displays, the Parisian-style area is set to become a new ‘hub’ for shoppers in and around MK City. On occasions, this area will be used for live entertainment too.
As a reminder, this is the first phase in things to come. Already Midsummer Place has secured two new food outlets to join The Boulevard that will open in early 2023, plus men’s suit company Cavani opened its doors in late November. More big names and changes will be announced in 2023.
The start of the New Year will also see more exciting events in the centre and local community and business partnerships, plus the launch of Spring/Summer Fashion 2023. The new season of clothing brings exciting new trends and styles delivered by Midsummer Place retailers such as Zara, New Look, Michael Kors, BOSS, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Superdry and Hollister.
