MKHC is a dedicated and passionate team that raises awareness and money for various projects, initiatives throughout all departments at Milton Keynes University Hospital. Their fundraising supports patient, family experience and supports staff, and ensures that the hospital experience is as comfortable and positive as possible. Tree theme - Going The Distance For Dementia

The decorations on the tree will feature facts to raise awareness of dementia and also quotes from patients and staff at Milton Keynes Hospital telling us their favourite Christmas memories. All in keeping with our green, silver and white colour scheme..

Our team is ready to take on a yearlong campaign, focusing on the Dementia facilities, patients, families and staff at the Hospital. We want to entice meaningful stories of the past, celebrate and create memories for the future. Ready to raise awareness and provide funding for those affected by Dementia including patients, families and the team at Milton Keynes Hospital.

Our partnership stems from an admiration for the work the charity does, supporting the hospital by funding special activities and projects that go above and beyond the NHS standard. And

while the NHS experiences growing pressure and limited resources, this is an area we are particularly passionate about supporting.

Unfortunately, Dementia affects 1 in 3 of us born in the UK. It is a huge stat, and we want to help in any way we can. Some of the team have personal connections to this awful disease and collectively, we hope we can make a small difference to patients, their families and staff.
